How I Work
A gentle, person-centred approach
My core training is in the person-centred approach, based on the belief that every person is unique and has the capacity for growth, healing and positive change. Rather than focusing on labels or diagnoses, I aim to understand your thoughts, feelings and experiences from your perspective.
I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can explore what is happening in your life at your own pace. Through empathy, acceptance and genuine understanding, I will support you in developing greater self-awareness and discovering your own way forward.
Because every individual is unique, I tailor my approach to suit your needs. Alongside person-centred counselling, I may draw on CBT, expressive therapies, grounding techniques and psychoeducation where these may be helpful — used thoughtfully, and only when likely to support your journey.
I work ethically and in accordance with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Ethical Framework.
